Radiesse

Introducing our revolutionary treatment, Radiesse, that helps you achieve the youthful and radiant skin you’ve always dreamed of. Radiesse is a thick injectable filler that provides natural-looking, long-lasting results, using the main ingredient, calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA). After injection, the Radiesse gel instantly fills wrinkles and fine lines and restores the desired volume. Over time, calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) triggers your body’s natural production of additional collagen, leading to a smoother skin appearance.

This dermal filler is particularly suitable for individuals with deep nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and other facial wrinkles that may be more pronounced with age. This treatment is a long-lasting solution for people between the ages of 30 and 60 who want to reduce the appearance of skin laxity. Radiesse can be done every 6 months (2 times a year)

Radiesse can be combined with facial and skin boosters and Botox, as long as they are not used in the same area.

  1. To reduce the risk of bruising and bleeding, avoid blood-thinning medications such as aspirin and ibuprofen for at least one week before your appointment.
These medications interfere with the body’s ability to clot blood, making you more susceptible to bruising.
  2. Avoid alcohol and caffeine for a few days before and after treatment since they are also blood thinners.
  3. Stay hydrated. When your skin is well-hydrated, it responds better to cosmetic procedures and minimizes potential discomfort during the treatment.
  4. Refrain from vigorous exercise. Engaging in intense physical activity can increase blood flow and circulation, which may lead to increased bruising and swelling after your Radiesse treatment. Refrain from vigorous exercise for 24 to 48 hours before your appointment.
  5. Avoid waxing, bleaching, tweezing, or using hair removal cream on the area to be treated.
  6. Avoid using Vitamin C cream, Glycolic Acid, Retinoids, and Alpha Hydroxy Acids higher than 10%.
  7. Avoid extensive or unprotected exposure to the sun.
  1. The first step in the Radiesse treatment process is cleansing the face.
  2. Anesthetic cream is optional and can be used to numb the treatment area.
  3. Drawing face markings helps to place the injections accurately, giving the customer the best possible results.
  4. The doctor will use a small needle to administer the Radiesse filler into the skin. The number and the depth of injections required will depend on the customer’s needs and the treatment area.
  5. After the treatment, the customer must follow a post-care protocol to ensure optimal results.
  6. The therapist may also recommend using an antibiotic cream to prevent infection.
  7. The doctor will apply SPF to protect the skin from sun damage.
  1. Avoid excessive heat, such as saunas or hot baths, and extreme cold, such as ice packs directly on the skin, can have adverse effects on the treated area and may interfere with the healing process.
  2. Follow a gentle skincare routine. Use mild cleansers, avoid harsh exfoliants or scrubs, and opt for hydrating and nourishing skincare products.
  3. Protect your skin from the sun. Direct sun exposure can lead to hyperpigmentation, increase sensitivity, and may affect the longevity of the results.
  4. Avoid strenuous physical activities for at least 24 to 48 hours after your Radiesse treatment. These activities can increase blood flow to the treated area, potentially causing swelling, bruising, or other complications.
  1. Allergies to any of the components of Radiesse.
  2. Autoimmune disorders. Conditions such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, or multiple sclerosis can affect the body’s immune response and may increase the risk of adverse reactions.
  3. Bleeding disorders. Radiesse injections can cause temporary bruising and swelling, so individuals with bleeding disorders may be at an increased risk of complications.
  4. Skin infections or inflammation. Injecting the filler into infected or inflamed skin can
exacerbate the condition and lead to further complications.
  5. Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
  6. Previous facial procedures such as facial surgery or other cosmetic procedures in the treatment area. Our therapists will assess the compatibility of Radiesse with your previous treatments and determine the appropriate course of action.
  7. Age restrictions. Our qualified professional will determine if Radiesse is suitable for you.

RADIESSE fillers require minimal downtime. Following the injection, you can return to your regular activities, but we don’t recommend strenuous exercise for the first 24 hours after the treatment. There may be some temporary side effects, such as redness, swelling, and bruising. However, these effects typically subside within a few days.
